Intermountain Centers for Human Development, Inc is the parent company of a few AZ companies providing services throughout Arizona. This family of organizations is referred to as Intermountain Centers.

Each company within the family of Intermountain Centers provides specialized services within a specific community. As a whole, Intermountain Centers provides a full continuum of services in which any person who walks through our doors can get their needs met through this continuum of care. The Intermountain Centers family includes:
Intermountain Centers provide persons with serious developmental and emotional disabilities and mental illnesses with the services necessary to integrate themselves into their community. Foster care, community and residential services support children, adults and families by offering programs like: Intermountain Academy, outpatient services, family support services, behavioral health therapy, and many others.

Intermountain Health Center, Inc. offers an array of medical services geared to meet the individual needs of every member. These services address a wide range of symptoms and diagnoses. Telehealth services are available so members can receive the same, quality level of in-person treatment over the phone. Emergency and non-emergency transportation services are available for members with a condition or limitation that prevents their ability to ride a bus or use another means of transportation.

Behavioral Consultation Services, Inc. offers children, adolescents and adults a wide range of behavioral services so each member can maximize their potential to manage problem behaviors in a healthy way. Intermountain Academy is a K-12 school that offers youth with autism a positive learning environment that is built around their strengths and interests. The curriculum focuses on positive behavioral support and maximizes students’ abilities in core subject areas—math, science, language arts, social studies and the arts. Intermountain Foster Care services support and guide foster parents through each step of the process. Our experiences staff can answer your questions, provide relevant information and assist you with the application and licensing process. Foster care options for child/youth members (birth to 17 years old) are Regular Foster Care, Tribal Foster Care, Therapeutic Foster Care and Child Developmental Homes. Adult members (18 years and older) needing foster care services have access to Adult Behavioral Health Therapeutic Homes or Adult Developmental Homes.

Intermountain Residential Services offer a variety of temporary residential programs for youth and adults in transition. The goal of these programs is to help youth and adults gain the necessary skills to achieve their own level of independence. Residential programs for child/youth members include group residences, an intensive behavioral health facility, a substance use program and semi-independent apartments. Residential programs for adult members include group residences and semi-independent apartments.
